Recipients

Cephron does not send SMS to the general public, retail consumers, or customer marketing lists.

  • Recipients are store personnel or approved business contacts participating in active operational workflows.
  • Examples include salespeople, drivers, and other workflow participants entered by an authorized store manager or owner.
  • Adding a phone number to Cephron does not count as consent.
  • Employment status, company-paid devices, or blanket employer approval do not replace individual consent.
  • Cephron only enables SMS after the intended recipient completes the public opt-in form.

Disclosures

The Cephron SMS opt-in flow presents the following disclosures in plain language before consent is submitted.

On-Page Disclosures

  • Cephron sends operational / transactional SMS only for active store workflow coordination.
  • Examples include assignment alerts, request updates, readiness notifications, and workflow updates for individually opted-in store personnel and approved business contacts.
  • Message frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply.
  • Reply STOP to opt out. Reply HELP for support.
  • Consent is not a condition of purchase.
  • Cephron enables SMS only after the recipient actively checks the consent box and submits the public opt-in form.

Cephron links recipients to the Privacy Policy and Terms of Service from the public proof page and the tokenized consent pages.

Consent is not a condition of purchase, and Cephron does not enable any SMS program for a contact before explicit opt-in is completed.

How Opt-In Works

This section mirrors Cephron's live tokenized consent flow. It is not a mock workflow.

Step 1

Manager adds the contact

An authorized store manager or owner adds a salesperson or other business contact in Cephron. The system creates the contact in a pending consent state.

Step 2

Cephron creates a secure opt-in link

Cephron generates a tokenized public opt-in URL tied to that contact and records the opt-in request in the consent event history.

Step 3

The contact receives the secure link

The manager can share the secure link directly with the intended recipient. The recipient does not need to log in to use the public consent page.

Step 4

The contact reviews branded disclosures

The Cephron opt-in page identifies the program, explains the operational / transactional message types, shows STOP and HELP language, and links to Privacy and Terms.

Step 5

The contact actively checks consent

The checkbox is unchecked by default. The contact must actively check the box and submit the form before Cephron enables SMS.

Step 6

Cephron records proof and enables SMS

When the form is submitted, Cephron records the consent status, consent method, consent language version, consent timestamp, and available request metadata such as IP address and user agent, then writes a consent event and enables operational SMS for that contact.

The live public opt-in URL pattern is cephron.com/sms-opt-in/<token>. The secure token is generated from the real SMS contact record and expires after the active request window.

06

How Opt-Out Works

Recipients can stop future operational SMS in either of these ways:

  • Reply STOP to opt out.
  • Use the secure Cephron opt-out page tied to the recipient's consent record.

Reply HELP for support. Message frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply.

After opt-out, Cephron marks the contact as opted out, records the event, and blocks future operational SMS until a new opt-in is completed.

The live public opt-out URL pattern is cephron.com/sms-opt-out/<token>.
