Overview
These Terms govern use of Cephron. Cephron is business software licensed to organizations for internal operational use.
Service
Cephron LLC provides a workflow coordination platform for multi-location business operations.
Cephron is not offered as a public consumer messaging product or marketing platform.
Service Model
Cephron is designed for internal business workflow coordination rather than public consumer use.
Depending on the workflow, the platform may be used by authorized users who log in to the console and by approved business contacts who interact only with specific public consent or opt-out pages.
Public legal pages, tokenized consent pages, and tokenized opt-out pages exist to support the operational messaging workflow. They do not convert Cephron into a public communications service.
Accounts And Access
- Organizations are responsible for managing their users, roles, stores, and related access.
- Authorized users must keep credentials confidential and use only the access granted to them.
- Organizations must ensure that only appropriate personnel are invited into operational workflows.
- Cephron currently describes authenticated credential-based access and role-aware routing; these Terms do not promise SSO, SCIM, or external identity federation.
Organization Responsibilities
- Use Cephron lawfully and only for internal operational purposes.
- Maintain accurate workflow data, contact data, and consent-related information.
- Apply appropriate administrative control over users, roles, and contact creation.
- Maintain consent-related information so Cephron can deliver system-generated SMS only within operational workflows and only after explicit opt-in is completed.
- Review and respond to opt-out requests, consent changes, and workflow communications in a timely manner.
Acceptable Use
- No unlawful use or circumvention of access controls.
- No disruption, malicious code, or abusive automated behavior.
- No reverse engineering except where non-waivable law permits it.
- No use of the service for spam, unsolicited messages, or communication unrelated to active operational workflows.
- No use of the service for public campaigns, prospecting, or unrelated outreach.
SMS Usage and Restrictions
Cephron enforces that SMS messaging is limited strictly to operational and transactional purposes within internal business workflows.
SMS functionality cannot be used for marketing, promotions, advertising, lead generation, customer acquisition, affiliate marketing, or any form of public or external outreach.
The platform does not provide the ability to send bulk messages, campaigns, or broadcast communications to contact lists or the general public.
SMS messaging is restricted to:
- Authenticated internal users of the organization
- Approved business contacts directly associated with active workflows
All messages are event-triggered by system activity such as assignments, status updates, and workflow actions. Messages are system-generated and cannot be manually composed, edited, or repurposed for external communication or promotional use.
Cephron does not sell, rent, share, or disclose mobile phone numbers or SMS consent with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
SMS Communications
Cephron provides SMS only for operational and transactional workflow coordination.
SMS messaging is system-generated and event-triggered by workflow activity such as assignments, status updates, and workflow actions.
- SMS is limited to individually opted-in store personnel and approved business contacts tied to active workflows.
- SMS messaging behavior is enforced by the platform and cannot be modified to support marketing, campaigns, external outreach, or user-defined messaging.
- Explicit consent is required before the platform will deliver any SMS message.
- Contacts remain in a pending state and the platform blocks SMS delivery until explicit opt-in is completed.
- Message frequency varies based on operational activity.
- Recipients may opt out at any time by replying STOP or by using a secure opt-out link.
- Message and data rates may apply.
- Support, legal, and compliance questions route through the relevant organization administrator or contact@cephron.com.
Additional program detail appears on the SMS page.
Organization Data
Organizations retain rights to the operational data they submit to Cephron.
Cephron may process that data only as needed to provide, secure, support, and operate the service.
Cephron does not sell organization data.
Cephron may retain workflow, consent, and message records as needed to preserve operational history, troubleshoot issues, review disputes, and respond to legal or compliance questions.
Suspension And Termination
Cephron may suspend or restrict access where it reasonably believes the service is being misused or used unlawfully.
Organizations may stop using the service at any time, subject to any separate commercial agreement.
Disclaimers
- The service is provided on an as-available basis unless a separate written agreement says otherwise.
- Cephron does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
- Organizations remain responsible for their own business decisions and operational processes.
Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cephron LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of revenue, business, goodwill, or data arising out of or related to the service.
Law
If no separate written agreement says otherwise, these Terms are governed by California law.
Changes
Updated terms will be posted on this page.
Continued use of Cephron means acceptance of those updated terms.
